Description:
Tree that reaches a height of 8 meters, with a very smooth, light green bark. The tree can be propagated by cutting a piece of the stem or root of the source plant and replanting (known as striking or cloning). The tree produces a flower with a long pink stamen, before the leaves, during the dry season. The flower is not fragrant but is known for opening up at nightfall. It is said that the flower of the guie' tiiqui has a playful, absent-minded personality, and showed up too late when God was assigning aromas to the flowers.
