Abundant thorny tree that reaches a height of 7 meters. The name guiichi laya bi'cu (lit. "dog tooth thorn") refers to the thorns, shaped like a canine tooth. The tree produces a green fruit and a yellowish-white flower distributed in a spherical shape. The tree appears dry all year round. The wood is used to make charcoal.
