Description:
Abundant tree that reaches a height of 2 meters, with yellow flowers and red fruit. It contains an abundance of latex, which is considered toxic, and for this reason it is also known as yaga la guitu tini (tini = latex). It is called palo mulato in Spanish because of its resemblance to the species Bursera simaruba, but the yaga la guitu guiichi is a different species from a different family and has the scientific name Euphorbia schlechtendalii.
