Description:
Tree that reaches a height of 8 meters. Similar to the zapote negro, scarce in the hills. The light brown fruit is similar to the fruit of the cachimbo. Although the fruit is sweet and edible, it is only eaten by birds. If eaten, the pulp stains the teeth black. It is considered useful for cleaning the gums.
