Description:
This name is used to refer to at least two species of abundant trees belonging to the Celastraceae and Rhamnaceae families. They reach a height of 6 meters. The flowers of the tree belonging to the Rhamnaceae family are yellow and the fruit is green, while the tree belonging to the Celastraceae family produces brown-colored fruit. Known in Spanish as "canela", cinnamon.
