Description:
This term is used to refer to at least two species of the genera Chloroleucon and Acacia, of the Fabaceae family. These thorny trees reach a height of 8 meters, and are found in abundance in humid areas, such as at the side of ditches. The flowers are yellowish and the fruit is brown. The bark is white, like the color of a bone, hence the name. The wood is used to make posts and as firewood.
