Description:
This term is used to refer to at least two abundant species belonging to two different families. One of them, Pisonia aculeata L., belonging to the Nyctaginaceae family, is a woody vine, with green and yellow flowers and green fruit. The other is a tree belonging to the Fabaceae family, which reaches a height of 1 meter. The flowers are purple and the fruit is a reddish-green color. Both are thorny plants, purple on the outside, with the thorns arranged in the shape of a cross.
