Description:
Abundant tree that reaches a height of 10 meters, with yellow flowers and pod-shaped green fruit. The pods ripen in the dry season, around Easter, and are crushed and mixed with water and sugar to make a sweet specialty. The wood of this tree is solid and hard, so it is used for posts. It is also used as firewood and to make charcoal.
