Description:
Scarce tree that reaches a height of 10 meters, with yellow flowers with red stripes and brown fruit that matures in August and September. This name is used for both the tree and the fruit, which is used in a variety of ways in the kitchen, for example for cool drinks and for a sweet with chili, salt and sugar. The leaves are believed to have medicinal properties to treat inflammation and skin rashes: they are soaked in alcohol and placed on the affected part of the body.
